What's the consensus: does JS1s in the AM suggest JS2s in the PM?

That was my initial thought, but there were no JS1s the morning of the first JS2 release, unless I read the thread incorrectly.believeland wrote:What's the consensus: does JS1s in the AM suggest JS2s in the PM?

+1. Also, be sure to post your stats and/or update to reflect your JS1 in the H applicant spreadsheet (link is available in the OP thanks to non-soft Hilde)pittsburghpirates wrote:Congrats to the new JS1s!

Congrats, JS1s! Could you update us with respect to your submission/completion date?
Now, to wait for JS2s...
My interviewer mentioned something about a short recess, and told me that I should hear back within 2 weeks after the fact. Does this hold for everyone, or is this a blanket statement Harvard asks them to make? I noticed that other users were told different things (such as rolling admissions, and the possibility of hearing back in January, February or March...).

I was a JS1 on Dec 3 and I was told that we would be hearing back between January-March. Not too specific.Oskosh wrote:Congrats, JS1s! Could you update us with respect to your submission/completion date?

I'm not sure about the more recent waves, but I am certain that some of the waves have sent out emails not all at once. People were reporting JS1s on the day I got mine a couple hours before I received the emailschocolate wrote:+2, should I bother continuing to hope?pittsburghpirates wrote:+1 also interested in people's experiences with thisyes_plz1868 wrote:Is it safe to assume all JS1 emails in a given wave go out at the same time? See, I think it was your post that made me wonder about this. That and another user commenting on the black box that is the post-JS1 Harvard application (i.e. a faculty member needing to sign off on you before being admitted). I wonder what they are told to say, or if what they say is their own estimate.cc1012 wrote:I was a JS1 on Dec 3 and I was told that we would be hearing back between January-March. Please channel your nervous anxiety and speculation into rain dancing for JS2s today or tomorrow before they close down.Oskosh wrote:See, I think it was your post that made me wonder about this.
