I think this is an important point. It seems that anyone who went DLS applied well-ahead of November 15 and also had >75% on both LSAT and GPA. It also seems that ED applicants did not generally hear back yet.

It may be that they extended these early well-qualified offers and are just now moving through the November applicants, both ED and RD. I am ED and went complete 11/15. I had UR1 11/16 and UR2 11/19.

No movement yet, but based on my analysis above, I'm not too worried. Then again, I could be totally wrong.

I am choosing to believe that this is the case. Based on this thread and LSN, there were some people who weren't above both 75%s who got DLS, but, if I recall, no true splitters (<25% GPA and >75% LSAT) or rev splitters.

I was accepted yesterday as a true splitter, so splitters should hold onto the hope that they might hear something sooner in the cycle too. While it looks like most people accepted yesterday were easy decisions based on high GPAs and LSATs there was some variation.

I'm really comforted by this growing consensus -- I'll start to worry if I haven't heard back ~2-3 days after EDers/applicants with complete/UR1/UR2 dates close to mine (which are also 11/15 - 11/16 - 11/19, respectively) do.

Does <25% GPA but between 50% and 75% LSAT count as a splitter? I submitted in late September and am under review with a 10/8 date. I can't imagine that really early (but none since) review date is good.

I'm actually a little unclear on the definition of splitter. I always thought it meant <25% GPA and >75% LSAT, but maybe it just means GPA below median and LSAT above median?

I would say splitter is below 25th and above 75th

I don't know what DLS is but I received a phone call offering acceptance yesterday (12/1). My GPA and LSAT are above 75% and I submitted my application 11/2.

Hi guys,

I have a question. So I applied ED to NYU (LSAT around 25 percentile, GPA above 4.0) and was admitted on 12/01/2015.

Does this mean I need to withdraw from other schools right now? (on the ED contract, it says withdraw "immediately" upon admission). Or should I wait for the official acceptance package to withdraw? Thanks in advance!

Can you please send me your stats and the dates on which you applied/went under review.

And no. I wouldn't withdraw until I received hard evidence.

I got in ED on Tuesday and sent emails to withdraw everywhere else that night. While it almost seems too good to be true to get into your dream school, they called you and said you're in. In my opinion it's poor form to make other admissions committees work on reviewing your application after you signed the agreement to immediately withdraw.

Just my two cents.

Yes, you have to withdraw all apps within 5 days. Reread the ED agreement.

Anyone still sitting at an early October UR date? This seems like an appropriate time to start freaking out...

I am still UR early Oct as well. No point in freaking out or having negative feelings. People get accepted between now and March (and off WL through July). This is still super early in the cycle.

Voice of reason. I am UR as of 10/12. Not feeling great either, but helps to remind myself that it's early.

Edited to fix date.

Has anyone seen anything since that first wave on Tuesday? I know there was a post about a DLS early in the day on Wednesday, but just 1 seems strange to me.

Complete and ur1 on 11/17, went ur2 today!
Hardcore splitter...

Did we confirm any correlation between ur2 dates and notifications? Or is it utterly meaningless? Other wild speculations?

Nope, haven't confirmed any correlation, but glad to hear there's some sort of movement going on.
