What is this absolute nonsense about Chicago requiring you to submit Need Access only two weeks after getting admitted?

Honestly, I think (?) that's sort of standard once schools hit the point where they're admitting people after their FA deadline(s).mpc347 wrote:What is this absolute nonsense about Chicago requiring you to submit Need Access only two weeks after getting admitted?

I dunno. Seems like every other school I've been admitted to is fine until like April or at least until depositing.

I was dreading it because everyone had talked about how horrible it was, but it really isn't that bad.

Speak for yourself, but as an older student getting married shortly it took me quite a while to fill it out, not including all the time to dig up financial statements from me, my future spouse, and both parents. Wish I had a bit more time than just two weeks, although I had already started finding all the documentation required because I knew it was a possibility.hillz wrote:+1Wahrheit wrote:Seriously, it's not a very long form. I think the best advice I have for anyone who is worried about it is to print out the sample forms and give it to your parents and SO so you don't have to rush around looking for it in the moment. That way, it's easy to just punch in the numbers.antiworldly wrote:Speak for yourself, but as an older student getting married shortly it took me quite a while to fill it out, not including all the time to dig up financial statements from me, my future spouse, and both parents. Is anybody else having trouble accessing their Chicago status checker? I've tried to get on 3 times and it just says webpage not available.

So when do we think Chicago will send out more Rubies? LSN lists only two so far, though there are undoubtedly more.

Went complete in January. UR 2 on 1/22. No interview invite. Time to give up hope? I really love Chicago!

Do you need to have submitted NeedAccess and FAFSA to be considered for merit aid? I'm guessing not, but I don't know.
