I went through the past few weeks, and it looks like decision letters are mostly sent out mondays and wednesdays. they don't arrive for a while, but it seems that people could get a username/password through asw and the letters were all postmarked on mon/wedaltf4 wrote:would be kinda nice if we could gather info on what days of the week results usually went out, but then again I don't know how constant this would be over the next few years so it may not even be worth the trouble of finding out... Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Considering switching my RD application to ED if I don't get significant scholarships anywhere else in the next few weeks. I did my undergrad in DC, love the city and am hoping to get into international law/biglaw, so GULC is a good fit. The 250k sticker price is really the only reason I haven't applied ED yet. I would really appreciate any insight admits and/or prospectives might have. PM for my stats or if you have any advice please!

I applied ED mid December and still nothing. I'm sure the 3 week promise is delayed due to the holidays but I'm going a little crazy. I'm not terribly hopeful but I just am dying to get my verdict.

The three week window is definitely more of a soft deadline, at least it was in my case. Keep the faith.

Just got a request to interview today, 1/12. Went complete 12/2. Taking it, hoping to live in DC and just got my GW acceptance.

I'm in the same boat. I never heard of a "3 week" promise though? What does this refer to?zeda wrote:I applied ED mid December and still nothing. I'm sure the 3 week promise is delayed due to the holidays but I'm going a little crazy. I'm not terribly hopeful but I just am dying to get my verdict.

so the 3 week thing is that they promise you they will respond within 3 weeks if you submit ED. Looks like it's not always the case but they are supposed to respond faster than RD.

So any idea when WL/Rejections will come out? I'm pretty sure that's the path I'm on since I went complete in November and haven't heard anything. Just curious.

Is anyone a reverse spitter who has gotten in ED? Can you message me please. I only found one on the spreadsheet from last year and I am deeply terrified.

There's been talk of rolling RD applications to ED. Does anyone know how to do this/ done it before? I'm assuming we would email admissions and tell them we want to change to ED, but not sure. Didn't see any other threads on the topic.

I just did it because I am a long shot at best so I figured why not. You have to fill out the paper application on GULC website and either fax or scan and email it in.mickey_mouse wrote:There's been talk of rolling RD applications to ED. No problem. They said the only reason an email alone wasn't sufficient was because they needed a signature due to the binding aspect of ED. Good luck!mickey_mouse wrote:Perfect, thanks so much.Grunt2Grad wrote:I just did it because I am a long shot at best so I figured why not. Got my alumni interview recently; LSAT >>75th (assuming you can use double >s for 5+ point difference?) but int'l gpa. I live in Asia and apparently they'll set me up with someone in my city! I'm nervous, but GULC interviews seem pretty chill and I'd love to find out more about what alumni are doing here so I said yes.
I was worried I'd be borderline (which I admit I could be, without a reportable GPA) but I read this thread and felt a little better: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=172918

My application status is complete and has been since I turned in my application on Dec. 15th. However, there is not date on the SC and the requirement list is blank. Any idea what this means?
