Woke up from a nap on this loveliest of snow days to a welcome letter from Chicago! I like how they put the congrats right in the subject line!
Stats: 75th percentile LSAT, GPA just under 3.6, non-URM. Submitted in September and interviewed before Xmas

Waitlist - as expected. Better than an outright ding, I suppose. That 3.6 doomed me for UChi lol

Re: Chicago c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Do they always solicit a "Why Chicago" so explicitly in the WL email?
We receive many incredible applications each year, yet our number of seats remains limited to approximately 190. Your application was strong, and we would like to give you the opportunity to supplement your file to provide more information to the Admissions Committee. Accordingly, you may take advantage of the following opportunities:
(1) You may submit an additional essay discussing the reasons why you are interested in studying law at Chicago and how our curriculum and academic environment will help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Please limit your essay to two pages and submit your essay to admissions@law.uchicago.edu. If you have already submitted a similar essay with your application, you may simply submit a statement of continuing interest and reference the essay you submitted with your application.
(2) If applicable, please provide updated transcripts by submitting them through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
The deadline for submitting an additional essay is February 28, 2014. You may submit your updated transcripts to LSAC as they become available. Please note that submitting supplemental materials is entirely optional and we will only accept materials electronically. In addition, if you have not already interviewed with a member of the Admissions Committee, you may be contacted to set up an interview. Interviews will be conducted only at the request of the Admissions Committee.

WL just now via email!
This is actually surprising, as I thought I'd be an auto-reject with an abysmal GPA. Congrats to all those accepted!
PM for stats.
