Guys...it's not even Thanksgiving yet. Calm down. We average ~360 per class. Guesstimating based on TLS's results, maybe 50-60 tops have gotten in so far.

Sorry, I think I was misunderstood. I'm definitely calm - I was just curious whether there are some numbers combinations they tend to take longer on. That post was definitely out of curiosity rather than panic.

I applied 10/28 and still haven't received a status checker, but I think I'm an anomaly. Most people get theirs within a week or two as far as I know. I got my acknowledgement email on 11/3.

Is the fact that the status checker updates daily just a system thing? Or is Michigan actually looking at most applications every day?

I may have missed something here:

Just received my "received" e-mail that alerted me that I will receive my status checker e-mail in a few weeks.

At the end of the email, after the signature there was but one word, "lawl"

So I guess I wasn't the only one. My guess is a student in the Admissions office added it to the automated e-mail without anyone noticing. Never thought Law School E-mail Easter Eggs existed, but sure enough...

Maybe the next one will have a roflcopter at the bottom.

Holy crap! Applied 10/20, went complete 11/03, in by snail mail as of today. Happened a lot faster than I thought it would. Slightly above LSAT median, right around GPA 75th.
