So what percent of people who get KB1's eventually get KB2's? Any statistics out there or even best guesses?

I believe the first round over the past few years has been something insane like 90%. I believe it goes down as you get in the second round (~Thanksgiving KB1) and especially when you factor in the March/April blitz.

When people talk about when their apps went complete, you're talking about getting the complete email, right? So a decent amount of time after you went under review? Any idea why H does it like this?

It looks like they send the complete emails out in batches. In my case, I was obsessively checking my status checker and saw that it changed to complete before it changed to under review.

Ah I see. Thanks. I guess I'll just pay more attention to peoples' submit dates then.

Is 800 the number of admits? Or is 800 the number of people who eventually attend (although I would be curious to know how many admits DON'T end up attending Harvard).

800 admits. The number of matriculants is generally at ~550-560

Uh no.... several of us went UR way back in mid-October and haven't received a KB1 yet.

I think the latest complete date that I've seen get a KB1 in here is 11/10

I also went UR on 11/7 and "complete" recently, with no call. However, it will be pretty much a miracle if I get a call, so take that with a grain of salt.

I was reading an old 'JR1, no JR2' thread last night, and the end-of-hope time mentioned there was around 4 pm EST. KB seems to have started later in the day than JR, though.

I'm doing exactly the same thing. My partner listened to my KB1, and she said it sounded a little like I was reading or reciting my answer to 'what are you doing now?' I wasn't, but I had been over it so many times in my head I can see why she would think that. I'm worried KB didn't like that.

Anyway, freaking out.

Wow, I just woke up (I'm international) and found a KB2 email sitting in my inbox. KB didn't call as our time zones really don't synch up very well and she didn't want to wake me (although I DEFINITELY wouldn't have minded, haha).
