I'm happier with a HOLD than a DING, that's for sure. Waiting until early May for them to revisit the held applications may be impossible, though.

Edit: no wonder they left early, since this decision probably provokes the most calls.

Held as well for me. Not sure what to make of it... I at first assumed it was equivalent to waitlist but then at the end of the email it said they would decided in may whether to admit, reject, or wl you.. interesting.

Looks like they are trying to keep to their 8 week decision timeframe yet still give themselves more time to shape their class.

I feel irrationally bitter about this. Totally irrational, yet nonetheless true. Probably because I'm agitated about not hearing from CLS yet-- as well as being one of the Forgotten with H.

Merrrr. At least it was a big batch- I guess? heh.

To those just held, how do we feel about waiting until May for them to revisit the apps? :evil: I don't know if I can wait that long to make a decision on other schools...

IIRC, people that get held can schedule on campus interviews after March 4th. So if anyone is looking for a reason to visit Chi town...
