Yeah, no way this was the big wave of acceptances.

So, is it the consensus that there will be another big wave of acceptances?

Also, for those of us who have had enough time to go under faculty review (specifically those with January complete dates), is there a time by which we should expect to have heard if we will indeed be admitted (without the waitlist)? According to LSN, the few April admits are usually those with late complete dates (mid-feb and march). Does this indicate that March 31 should be considered some sort of unofficial hope cut-off?

I went complete in late November, and from what I've been able to tell from LSN, if people with early complete dates don't hear anything by the end of March, the most likely outcome by far is being waitlisted.

So there's still hope for those of us that had our Dean's Certs get lost and only went complete in March?
There was no rejection letter from this round, so there's still hope! I'm going to hold out until I see that little
envelope in my mailbox (probably completely unjustified optimism, but that's what dreams are for....right?)

I mean, I saw that coming for me, I just wonder why they'd wait so long to do what we both know is coming. *sigh* Although, if I got waitlisted at Yale, I'd consider it a complete win.

Not sure. I mainly looked at November and December complete dates. I would guess early January is a similar position, because by the end of March there will have been plenty of time for them to send your file to faculty review, get the results back, and rule out an immediate decision.

If you look through the previous pages of this thread, you'll see that a rejection wave that came out on 3/15. There was also one mid-February. Hope that helps! Good luck!

i went complete in the middle of december, but have yet to receive a rejection letter. i assume i will either be rejected or wait listed based on my stats. when can i expect said news to arrive though?

Do they loan it out to applicants too... because they maybe should. Also I thought this was a myth. I did always love handsome dan when I was there, even the stuffed version.

don't actually know, i'm lucky my parents even opened the mail, much less remembered details. seems to have been a large group around then though.

Congratulations! My complete date is 2/16...so somehow this gives me irrational hope that I will be getting the call soon. Can't hurt to dream, right?
