I actually got a phone call yesterday reminding me that the seat deposit was due April 1st... LOL

Anyway, I asked about putting down multiple deposits with a scholarship offer in hand at FSU, and she said it was fine. She also said that there is not a 2nd seat deposit after you pay the first one. Hope she's right!

No problem! I assumed it was that way because I looked over the scholarship form recently and there were no stipulations on it, but I just wanted to check. I'm going to have to do this because my SO hasn't heard back from schools yet.

Just sent off my acceptance forms and seat deposit last night! Can't wait to move back to Tally! I am feeling really good about my decision.

Paid my seat deposit and mailed my residency info today! I'm still waiting for a response from UF, but even if they let me in, I was already on the fence about living in Gainesville...
So it's really looking like FSU for me too; I'm sure ASD Friday will only help convince me

Interestingly enough, my decision ultimately was made once I saw the quality of dance studios around tally. Is that sad or what? UF has deprived me of my favorite hobby for four years. Had NO idea how much I missed it until I saw some videos and got super excited about moving to tally.

EDIT: I will probably change my mind again tomorrow morning.

Sooooo, Nancy Benavides just emailed me and they increased my scholly 2k per year.....thoughts? Meaning 1L will be about 38k-COA

2L & 3L approx...23k-COA per year Grand Total 84k

Wake Forest would be 117k total COA over 3 years.

My forms are in and deposit paid, as well. I'm probably the atypical applicant though. I knew what school I wanted to attend, and only applied to that one. So, I'm feeling pretty good about my decision too.

I got an email this morning telling me that my financial aid amounts had changed and I could access it via Blackboard...I was like ummmmm I never received any financial aid info or a Blackboard sign in. Clicked on the link and we can actually set up our Blackboard account and access our financial aid info. The exciting thing is, I have been given a 1000 grant! It just keeps getting better.

No my scholarship was not on there. I think the change on mine could have been that $1000 grant.

I received the email, too! It lists the Stafford loan, but not the Grad Plus loan. Do some people have the Grad Plus loan? Also, it doesn't list my scholarship - I dunno why scholarships aren't showing up right now.
