I got admitted a few weeks ago and still haven't send the scholly form in. I really need to do it tonight; I feel dumb.

You can email it, which makes it way easier.

How long from "Decision made; you will be notified soon" to actually receiving that notification? My freakout has officially commenced.

Also, should I expect an e-mail, phone call, text message?

Thanks y'all (blatant, last-minute attempt to generate positive southern karma)

Email that has almost always come the same day. Usually within a few hours. If you get in you'll get an admission packet within a week or so.

I've been "file ready for review" since 11/16. Does Duke have an "under review" status or is that it?

They do have an "Under Review" status which comes next. I've been stuck at "File ready for review" since 11/9, so don't fret. I think they're just dealing with the large number of PT applicants first.

And I've been at "Under Review" since 10/19.

Not to burst your bubble either, but I've been "File Ready for Review" since 11/6. It definitely seems like Duke doesn't necessarily do apps in the order they were received, though, so you could very well have a decision before all of us. I'm a high LSAT splitter (FWIW) and quite a few RD applicants have gone under review before me that submitted way later, so who knows. :?

I've been "File Ready for Review" since 11/4. RD as well, marginal numbers though...

What does it mean when your status says "under review" but your current status date changes?

It has historically indicated that a decision is close, possibly within a few days, especially for PT applicants.

Hi guys,
I'm not a frequent poster but my anxiety is taking over and now I need some opinions:
Okay, so my file was "under review" 11/12 and then changed to "under review" 11/28....and then nothing. I know that we established that date changes meant a decision was close (I think someone said that it meant your file was going into final review) but this is like 3 days out and no news. Anyone else have their date change more than once or take longer than 3 days to get a decision after a date change?
I'm not banking on getting into Duke so it could be that I was reject and they are waiting to send out rejections later....perhaps?

I had the same thing happen on the 27th. Not sure what it means, but at least we are closer to getting a decision right?

11/28 was last Friday, so unless they reviewed applications over the weekend (which they may), it really hasn't been too long. That time frame has been the case for Priority Track applicants, but I'm not sure what it means for Early Decision applicants. It does mean you're getting closer, but I wouldn't read much more into it.

I'm not sure if they promised a decision by a certain date for Early Decision applicants, but they promise 10 days for PT applicants, so they may have to rush those decisions even over ED ones.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
