RD applicant here, in via phone call. Submitted 12/6, complete 12/7, UR 12/9, no updates after that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
LSAT > 75%, GPA < 25% Yay splitters!

Re: NYU c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Thanks!! I checked the status checker last night and didn't see anything. At work I got a call from a New York number and answered it, I thought it was going to be a fundraising call or something. Checked the status checker after the call and saw that it moved to DLS. It was all very unexpected but I'm so excited!

Got the phone call and email this morning!
Regular decision
If helpful: LSAT >75, GPA 25-50. Three years Wall Street work experience.

Is that supposed to be an indication that you are likely not getting in?LenaFarrer wrote:I have been UR1 since the end of October...not feeling good about this

I actually don't know and I don't want to suggest that to myself. But the wait is real.mcssports1 wrote:Is that supposed to be an indication that you are likely not getting in?LenaFarrer wrote:I have been UR1 since the end of October...not feeling good about this

My LSAT is on the lower 170s and GPA is below their median. I'm actually confused if I should email and ask them about this.mm2368 wrote:how are your stats, if you guys don't mind me asking?mcssports1 wrote:Is that supposed to be an indication that you are likely not getting in?LenaFarrer wrote:I have been UR1 since the end of October...not feeling good about this

No, I'm at a 169 and a 3.7x and haven't heard, UR1 10/4 and Ur2 10/31. There are a lot of people still waiting.LenaFarrer wrote:My LSAT is on the lower 170s and GPA is below their median. What is UR2? Mine has just said "Application Under Review" for weeks. ItKeilz wrote:No, I'm at a 169 and a 3.7x and haven't heard, UR1 10/4 and Ur2 10/31. Also they leave voicemails.tlee13 wrote:I'm going to say a coincidence...they typically don't call that early and I don't think I've heard of anyone getting a call before DLSmcvizz wrote:So I missed a call from a 646 number at 8:30am. It only rang about 3 times so I didn't get to answer it and there was no message. Status checker still says under review. Is this just a coincidence? (I live in the midwest and never get calls from New York).

Of course I'm disappointed but it could have been worse. With my below 25th LSAT, I'll take it.
