Interviewed on March 9th, no reply yet.
Do you think it'll be forward for us to send an email to ask?

Got their full + 30k stipend scholly today. Very excited about them, they've been a very nice group to work with. Now just have to see how everything else falls out.

Sorry

I just got my first decision yesterday from another school I thought I was a lock for and I was waitlisted ... Can I asked when you applied and if you had an interview?
I applied very early in January. I didn't get an interview

Interviewed early this week, admitted same day. How long did it generally take to get scholly info after a decision?

Interviewed a week ago, no response yet but they said they'd have a decision by April 1. I'm wondering how long it was between interviews and admissions for all of you?

Yesterday offered 15k/year on top of full. Agree that everyone in admissions has been really nice so far. Wish I could visit!
Fwiw interviewed last week, initial scholarship info two days later.

Was your initial scholarship a full? I got bumped up to full, curious if there's any possibility of even another offer. (I doubt it, but hey you never know)

Initial was full without the extra 15k a year. Congrats!

Thanks and to you as well! Real nice to have in your back pocket. Visited a couple weeks ago, the admissions staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I wasn't initially considering WashU, but they've really impressed me throughout the whole process

What's the consensus on WUSTL for free but without STL ties when the goal is biglaw, midlaw, or government? Is a lower T14 worth an extra $25k in a situation like this? Is a T6 worth an extra $100k?
I suspect that there are plenty of TLSers who take a WUSTL full ride over T6... if you are one of those people, do you think you made the best choice?

How long after the acceptance email did you receive scholarship info? Also, was it by letter or email? My acceptance email was surprisingly vague - just saying congratulations you are accepted etc., but no further instructions or links as to ASW or scholarship or what I need to do to deposit or deadlines etc.

I'm in the same boat as you, friend. Aiming for Midwest midlaw. Ties to STL and Indy. Full at WUSTL plus stipend, sticker at H, and 150k in debt from Duke. The H admit is amazing, but the price tag is almost a deal breaker. Against the conventional wisdom, WUSTL is still in my ballgame.

Same here. I applied late in the cycle- I'm in at Duke and NYU, haven't heard back from a few others, don't think I have much money coming my way. With WUSTL I could graduate from a top 20 school without even taking out a loan.. but I don't have ties to STL or the midwest.

I'm debt-averse, so WUSTL would make sense for me (especially if they gave me a stipend), but I don't have STL ties and I do have HYS numbers, so I'm really conflicted. Right now I'm holding out for HYS before I make any decision.

HYS is great, amazing even. But that amazing education comes with an amazing debt load. As an EXTREMELY debt averse person, I'm still keeping WUSTL on the table.

I agree. But Harvard has always been my dream, so I'm going to wait and see if I get a JS2 before I commit to any school (or withdraw and reapply next cycle).

My scholarship email said that I had to accept the scholarship by April 1...is there a way to extend this deadline? Do you think it would be ok to call them to ask for more time? I'm waiting on scholarship info still from some other schools I'm interested in, and also waiting on decisions from Columbia and NYU that should come in April.

Also curious about this. I still haven't gotten initial responses from some of my schools, and I don't expect to be done negotiating for several more weeks.

Did you have to ask them about scholarship in an email or mention it in your interview at all? Or did they just send the scholarship email a couple days later?
I received the admission letter but am not really sure what I'm supposed to do right now.

They'll send it without you asking. I didn't bring it up at all and they sent the scholarship a couple days after admission
