I made a page for the class of 2019! It's kind of ugly now, but I'll spruce it up later!

Just got an admit email with a Public Interest Fellowship that's a full ride. Didn't even know that existed! I'm freaking out right now....

Wow, that's awesome, congratulations!!

If you and all of today's other lucky admits wouldn't mind sharing your stats + any other relevant info like WE here or in the Columbia spreadsheet that would great. I know a lot of people are probably curious to see how the PI full ride offers compare to the relatively numbers-driven Hamiltons and Butlers.

Just interviewed, and the woman asked me why a Canadian would ever want to pay US tuition. Sort of asking myself that...

Any of the new admits get in via letter only, or via email as well? Snowzilla has me hoping the mail is just backed up...

I think so - just talked about how the LRAP is superior at Columbia to most Canadian schools, and I'm planning on staying in public service, so the cost benefit when you include all the benefits of columbia make it worth it

Did anyone take part in the one-on-one "informational conversations" for current students and alumni in NYC back in October? I'm starting to wonder if those were considered interviews (mine felt more like an interview of me than info session, but I didn't think anything of it at the time) and wanted to see if anyone from Oct. has had an interview during the application cycle. Feel free to PM since I imagine the group is relatively small and you might want to keep anonymity. [Edited for consistency with email from CLS]

I'm late to the party because I had a long day at work, but today I got in with a Butler! Still on cloud 9. Message me for stats, dates, etc.

How do you know this? What do you mean exactly? I don't think applying for need-based aid is going to net me anything, is Columbia a special circumstance?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
