If your under review was updated, it means that you're at UR2. It looks as though all of us EDers are at UR2, myself included now.

Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I'm so scared of getting waitlisted now; I've been stuck at UR1 or UR2 since December 7th and it's just not looking good.
At the time I applied, Penn was in the middle of the pack in terms of my choices, but due to circumstances involving my SO and her grad school applications, it's pretty much shot to the top. I really regret not writing a "Why Penn" now.
Is it possible to submit a Why Penn after I get waitlisted (if I get waitlisted)?

It is possible to submit one now as an addition to your file and it is possible to submit one if you get waitlisted as a LOCI...JusPassItToWill wrote:I'm so scared of getting waitlisted now; I've been stuck at UR1 or UR2 since December 7th and it's just not looking good.

Are you ED? If you're RD i wouldn't panic just yet especially if your numbers are strong. It's possible to write Why Penn, which would count as LOCI.JusPassItToWill wrote:I'm so scared of getting waitlisted now; I've been stuck at UR1 or UR2 since December 7th and it's just not looking good.

I think I will wait to see what happens before doing anything, but it's good to know that I can put in a LOCI if things don't turn out favorably.

So is the consensus that getting UR2 is a good sign, or simply a sign of progress on your app with nothing further to be read into?

Oh hey there UR2!
Not getting my hopes up though. Penn's waitlisting is apparently so brutal that mylsn says my chances here are about as bad as they are at Yale, which is pretty bad.
RD complete 12/8 and UR1 1/5.
