There are actually waves.pittsburghpirates wrote:Probably a stupid question, but did we determine if they actually went out in waves yesterday or if the differences in timing were just due to when people checked the status checker? I'll be refreshing all day either way, just curious to know

RD, submitted 10/20 and I don't remember both dates but I believe the most recent one was 11/19amd3_3 wrote:Congrats that's great. ED or RD? Should we expect multiple waves today or maybe one large afternoon wave each day for the next few days/weeks?

If I recall correctly, last year there was a smaller wave on 12/2, and then waves on the following two Mondays. I could be wrong about that, though ... might check last year's thread to be sure.amd3_3 wrote:Should we expect multiple waves today or maybe one large afternoon wave each day for the next few days/weeks?

Seems like yschaf was the only acceptance on TLS so far today. Do we consider that a "wave"?cbbinnyc wrote:If I recall correctly, last year there was a smaller wave on 12/2, and then waves on the following two Mondays. So basically the rush could be over, save for Monday action. Other than that, we may get them trickling in daily?zty wrote:I've gone through them twice, you did not miss anything.ggnobbq wrote:i quickly went through last years thread and only saw one reported DLS the day after first wave, but I may have overlooked a couple postsamd3_3 wrote:Seems like yschaf was the only acceptance on TLS so far today. Since I know you were all waiting with bated breath, I just got my call. I got really excited when the 212 number popped up on my caller ID. (But I went DLS yesterday, so no evidence here of a new wave.)

Any other internationals with DLS's yesterday still without an email? I know it's 100% paranoia but my brain won't accept it as true without the email...
ETA: Ok freaking weird. Literally checked my email the second after posting this and there it is haha
ETA 2: Do you reply to that email?!?

I've gone through the posts from yesterday's DLS wave, but just to make sure I didn't miss anything: regardless of ED/RD, did anyone who went complete after 11/13 go DLS yesterday?

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I applied on November 2nd. I never get a second email telling me my file was complete, and my status checker just changed to "Under Review" on November 30th. Does that mean my application wasn't complete until the 30th? Have they just now started to review my application? Or does it not change to UR2 and the date just updates? I don't know if there was a date there before, I just checked it yesterday.
So I guess my question is, what does the status checker say when you go UR2?

It will stay under review, but your date will change.lawschoolhopeful2016 wrote:I applied on November 2nd.
