so... i've noticed that people on TLS often say that if your numbers aren't high enough, or on the lower side for a school, you get no $$... but what about need based grants?? or are you saying that even those are going to be reserved for higher scorers?

13 days between complete and the date of my letter, but 20 days until letter.

got in to ASW! I didn't have the trouble that some people had - as soon as I got my username and password, I was able to log in to the site. But I got into ASW the day before I got my letter (so about a week after I was "admitted").

Held 11/25 and nothing. I'm assuming I'll get a WL email next week

edit: they said I'd hear back by 1/31 regarding a final decision

Nope. Don't plan on hearing until end of February. And I plan on being rejected or at the bottom of the waitlist. I started a Held at Georgetown thread if you want to keep in touch with others.

I applied on Dec 7th. I noticed people get notified of interviews within 2 weeks of application date.

I think I read that they were interviewing some of the applicant pool, but not all of them. I'm hoping this is the case, because I have also yet to get a request to interview...

Same - was invited to interview but had to decline due to work - was accepted ED a week later. Think the interview can play a small part in an acceptance but it doesn't appear to be any kind of game changer unless maybe you're incredibly charming!

I did an alum interview (I declined the group interview invite, and then got an alum interview invite); my interviewer told me that most people he interviewed were people with borderline numbers.

My letter was dated a week after my interview (though I received it like 10 days after). Granted, the process probably went quicker since it was before break but regardless, based on my own experience and what I've seen from others you should probably be hearing within the next week or so.

mine was dated ~10 days after I did the interview and showed up a week after that

I wouldn't worry. I heard nothing from the time I turned in my application to the time when I got my letter. No interview request, and I'm pretty sure that my status checker never changed from complete. I'm pretty sure it never switches to under review, actually.

This is correct. Georgetown never goes to UR, and in fact it stays at "Complete" even once you are admitted.

The only thing that ever changes in the status checker is the appearance of UG Transcript and certification form under 'Requirements' after you're admitted.

Also, I THINK, although I'm not 100% sure, that Georgetown's wave of decisions tend to take place on Mondays.

would be kinda nice if we could gather info on what days of the week results usually went out, but then again I don't know how constant this would be over the next few years so it may not even be worth the trouble of finding out... It'd help us immediately though, I'm sure.
