Hahaha!
Part of me wonders whether it would be good or bad if admissions knew our TLS names. I know I'm a new poster, but have been lurking for a while and expect to be quite active over the cycle.
I hope they do..... I hope Asha is on here and likes my majestic art enough to let me in. Toby thinks it will get me the auto admit. I'm banking on just getting offered admission through TLS.
In all seriousness, unless you're being a big rude troll (or controversial and offensive) I can't see it being a particularly negative thing for them to know. It shows that you've done your research and are actively working on putting together a strong application/studying for the LSAT, and that you like helping other people.
You should just submit that sketch along with the phrase, "I sketched this for you" 50 times, for your 250.
Yeah...

One of the guys on here, I want to say it's ElTerrible but I am not sure, had someone at the LS he chose identify him and say that he had potty mouth online. Haha
Unreal! I guess 'potty mouth' isn't an issue lol.

I'd like a personalized rejection letter, not a restraining order....

I think a restraining order from Yale would give you an extensive amount of TLS fame.

Frankly, even a
personalized rejection letter would be impressive.

On the bright side, If they send you notice of the restraining order in lieu of a rejection letter, than you never technically got rejected.

Just an idea for the OP, maybe add the link to the COA Calculator spreadsheet? It has been very helpful for me so far in trying to figure out an idea of how much money I would need from each school in order to make it a realistic COA.

Hello.
If anyone is a Northwestern student and if you would like for Karen and me to speak at your campus Wednesday evening, Sept 10th please PM me or let me know. We will both be in Chicago then. THANKS!
I guess I should add we will speak on how to get a bump in law admissions!

When it means that LSAC has one transcript outstanding, does that mean my school has already sent it? Or does that mean that the LSAC is waiting for it to be sent.

It just means they don't have it yet. Maybe your school sent it or maybe they didn't, but it hasn't made it to LSAC yet

Sorry if I was unclear in the other thread. Your LSAC file will say you have a transcript outstanding from any school on your school list from which LSAC doesn't have a transcript. In my experience even if your school has sent the transcript it will continue to say outstanding until they have evaluated it and created an "Academic Summary Report." After which it will then read "received." HTH

My transcript is marked as received and the process date is listed as the 18th (this past Monday). But when I click on the ASR, it says "Transcript data not on file."
How long does it take for the ASR to be available online after the transcript is processed?

I had the same thing happen and it populated within 24 hours. But that seems like it has taken too long. I would call unless there is something weird about your transcript that you already know about. I also submitted mine during a time when they weren't being inundated with transcripts, so that may change the time frame.

My experience was similar to Toby's. I would wait till Monday to give them a week and then call to see what's up.

Thanks for the advice. They probably are pretty swamped, I'll give it a little time. Aside from the terrible senior year GPA, I don't think there's anything unusual about my transcript, ha

So I just actually read the LSAC instructions about labelling recommender letters and realized I'd done it wrong: I called my letters "General" and "__-Specific" (I didn't realize that schools see our labels). I think the second one is fine but I guess the first implies that there is something other than a general letter, which maybe (?) we aren't supposed to do; the examples certainly hedge better than that. I can re-submit requests for one of my recommenders but don't want to confuse the other (he isn't the best with the Internets). Do you think it's super weird to submit a letter called simply "General?"

I don't think it would be weird at all. LSAC suggests "For all law schools" which is what I used, even though I don't have any school-specific recs. "General" seems pretty much the same
