Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Got the call yesterday around 11AM EST!
Went complete on 11/9, RD. Went UR twice, and got the call 3 days after UR2 (at least I think so, I haven't been checking a ton the weeks over Xmas. May have been UR 3 times).
LSAT at 75th (but took 2x) and GPA above 75th. Submitted the Why Penn essay.
Congratulations to everyone who got admitted and good luck to those waiting to here!

I had the 1/6 UR2 and haven't heard anything yet either. I'm hoping we hear something from Penn today. Surprised wee haven't heard of a call yet this morning.
Congrats admits. Good luck to those waiting. Good things to come.

Looks like there are quite a few 1/6 UR2's who haven't heard back yet. Fingers crossed for all of us!crimson34 wrote:I had the 1/6 UR2 and haven't heard anything yet either. I'm hoping we hear something from Penn today. Surprised wee haven't heard of a call yet this morning.

Anyone ever talk to a Renee in the admissions office? I tripped all over my words when I called to change from RD to ED2 because I thought by some fluke it might be Dean Post and not a receptionist who just happened to be named Renee as well. Dean Post wouldn't be answering the general admissions line, right?

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
So
I submitted my application with my december score which is slightly above harvard median.
I have gpa just below harvard 75 % , but with fall semester's gpa I become above 75% with extra 0.02~0.03 boost.
Given this fact, would it be wise to update my fall grade once I get them all?
I am a little concerned because I have used Pass/Fail for one class ( I passed.)
Rest of the grades are A or A + so this would increase my gpa extra 0.03 overall, making it to be above 75%.
Would I send it now? or wait until I get decision and save them for potential waitlist and LOCI ?
Any suggestions?
