Finally got back from running errands and I am IN!!

I'm so excited! Duke is definitely one of my top choices.

Does anyone know if Mordecai invitations continuously go out to new/recent admits, or if I just recently applied I'm too late?

also re: mordecai scholars. is it considered separate from the scholarship app we were emailed? if so, have the people who got it--are you not filling out fafsa for duke? the app said to fill out fafsa before sending it in :\

I believe that they're separate - i got both the scholarship email and the Mordecai invite email today. The Mordecai email is basically just a request to RSVP for interviews - no other forms required as far as I see. And I'm planning to fill out FAFSA/needaccess in case my interview goes horribly!

Does anyone know much about the Mordecai timeline? I was accepted via PT mid-November, but haven't gotten a Mordecai email. I'm wondering how long it takes before it's reasonable to think I'm not going to get an invite.

Looking through last year's thread, peeps were still getting Mordecai invites in mid-late January. You're definitely not late!

yikes, i didnt know mordecais were only awarded at the beginning of the cycle. im waiting on december scores to send in my apps--is that definitely no mordecai territory? tyia!

So I had missed the little blurb on their website that applications (including PT) submitted after December 13 wouldn't get a decision until January due to the admissions office being off for the holidays, and I didn't submit my application until this weekend . I was prepared to wait a month for a decision (instead of the 10 days I would've been waiting if I had submitted my application a few days earlier ), but I just went under review today! So maybe they're still reviewing files even though the office is closed...? Sigh, now I have my hopes up again that I could hear before mid-January.

It looks like its still mostly/all PT people hearing back, is that correct? I've been UR since early november. Duke excited me with a few date changes early and now i'm just chilling.
