If they call in the evening, do they call your cell or your evening number (i.e. home number)?

I think a lot of the stress in this thread is because October dates are being passed and, of course, Stanford releases decisions in such smaller batches and on a less predictable basis.drawstring wrote:Ya, that was the worst. And some of it is personal preference. When you're in HYS realm, you are often dealing with people's long-term dreams.
We're not that mad Ally; it's just an unpleasant jolt, perhaps because the formatting of your joke didn't make it immediately clear that it was a joke.

Guys, it took approximately .5 seconds to read the rest of the post and realize it was a joke. My hopes and aspirations are locked up in these forums as well, but this was barely even a troll. Go get a drink with your friends and

*GATHERS THOUGHTS*.....I really hope that you guys get accepted. Simply on the basis that this means so much to you. I apologize for heightening your stress levels. My little one-liner obviously caused some panic in this corner of the TLS world. However, I do not appreciate the bashing. It's not that deep (at least not to me) and I feel as though this forum is not for that. It should be a place where people can come and discuss how they are feeling throughout this tiresome process, while receiving understanding because we are all experiencing the same thing. If you are so stressed that an online forum post can ruffle your feathers, maybe you need to take a break. Relax. Nothing in life should give you this much anxiety. What is meant to be will be.

I get your point. My response really wasn't serious anyway, but my heart did jump a bit when I read the first part of your post.Ally Mcbeal wrote:*GATHERS THOUGHTS*.....I really hope that you guys get accepted.
