Thanks my cycle is officially over! Yale was the last school i was waiting on? Now I have to do the visits. I actually want to visit Yale earlier do they only have a stipend for ASW or can you use it anytime like Penn's?

All you superstars who got into YLS are totally misleading... I'm reading about all these acceptances and I'm like "Why the hell didn't I apply to Yale?? Everyone else is getting in!"

Would just like to ask.... how do you know this? Are you implying that schools/adcoms actively try to match applicants to posters here? That would be quite holistic... in a stalkerish kinda way.

Above, plus you're an AA male who presumably got the call yesterday- I'm sure that really limits the potential population to the point that any diligent Yale admissions officer could easily guess who you are.

They don't stalk that I know of, but people have been called out in the past for saying things that are stupid/insightful.

I wouldn't call it stalking, but this board can be pretty hilarious, can you blame them for looking? Thus, I wouldn't say anything on here that I wouldn't say to Asha's face. I can't believe some of the stuff people post! So, if I get the call today (my phone IS working, I checked) I won't mind outing myself, which I'm sure my stats have done anyway.

People were speculating if people got dinged because of things they posted here, but I wonder if people ever got in for the same reason. It would be pretty hilarious if that was what pushed them across the finish line.

Hey guys, I've been following this thread for a while and just wanted to let you know that I have a friend who did get in this afternoon. It seems that they did make some phone calls today like they promised. (Hope that this news about movement is helpful somehow)
