Just got an email from them today saying they have received my "initial" app materials, and that I'll get an online status checker ID and password in 3-4 weeks.

I hope I can get that sooner than later. I submitted my app, complete, about two weeks ago.

Yeah just got that too. From LSN stalking, it looks like Darrow invites come out in December.

Can those who were admitted - whether ED or RD - please post these dates: 1) Date submitted, 2) Date status checker received, 3) Date decision received/able to log in to Admitted Students' site? THANK YOU!!!

I'm also wondering if number two is relevant to number three, since I submitted on the 8th, got an acknowledgement e-mail on the 12th, and have yet to receive a status checker. I'm hoping (not without reason, I think) that when I do receive my status checker (in this Wednesday's wave, maybe?) that my application should already be complete. Although I wouldn't complain if it was already on decision by then

Anecdotally, i've read on TLS that they can. Just keep it to once or twice a day and you'll be fine.

However, the same anecdotal evidence seems to show it may not matter, since they were posted by habitual offenders that got admitted. That said, I'm not going to be risking it.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. I checked it once a day for (roughly) a week between when acceptances starting coming out and when I got accepted, and I still got in so . I doubt it's a huge deal unless you abuse it.

The only schools that might reject you would be HYS or a school that is YPing you. You have ties to Michigan right? Cut the pessimism... you're in great shape!

Plus with your numbers I'm sure you'll get into Michigan and a number of other great schools!

I'm in the same boat. >50% gpa >75% lsat.

But I'm an idiot and didn't write ANY optional essays and have one standard PS.

I am part of the 10/26 complete group, above the 75th GPA and at the 75th LSAT. Definitely concerned about not hearing back yet. Hopefully it is because I sent two optional essays in early November and got pushed back. Didn't expect this whole application cycle to be such an ordeal. Between finals and obsessively check statuses and TLS I'm going a little nutso.
