Well darn dude, we probably won't go to school together. Unless we're both at Harvard.
Never say never brother, your LSAT is better than mine. I'd go to UVA, NU, Mich, Cornell in a heartbeat.

I really enjoyed this show. His dad and the soundtrack were especially awesome.

Just finished season 6 of Parks and Rec. Also watched the first episode of Master of None. I'm not good at balancing multiple shows at once so I'll watch the rest once I'm done, although I did enjoy the first episode (it was a bit awkward though). The music also gave it an indie movie vibe which I also enjoyed.

I just finished season six too. I can understand the hype now, although not to the extent herein. Master of None gets funnier every episode. It's essentially a Millenial's Louie.

Exactly the feeling I was getting throughout the episode.

Well, I figured out what schools to apply to with my formerly earmarked UVA/Penn money. Fordham and UT.

Looking through the spreadsheets, it's pretty clear that I'm in the bottom few percent of the regular applicants here. But, hey it's good to have friends in high places, right? If I were the smartest in the room it would be a room I wouldn't want to be in.

Louie is a pretty good comparison, although Louie is far more depressing, hilarious and overall the superior show.

anyone got links to a thread about how 0Ls can prepare for the first year of law school? Or general reading suggestions? Thinking I might as well take that up as a hobby

I once heard someone say that the job of a lawyer is essentially being paid to be the smartest person in the room.

Is 2 pages too long for a "Why X" essay?

Probably depends on the school. Some explicitly say to keep one page or less while some others are a little more open ended. To fill two pages, it sounds like you have a lot to say about the school in particular though! I kept all of mine to one page fwiw

Yeah it's only Michigan's that is coming out around 2 pages. They say 1 page but no more than 2.

I got super motivated to write a Why UVA today, so what the heck, I've wasted $30 in more foolish ways.
