! Just tried to access Admitted site and could access it !
(Yesterday morning got red text, but got in today, checked my mailings and it looks like my package was sent 12/3! Also appears it's summer term entry, which is all good. Any others out there?)

I can't help but to worry it's not real somehow and just want something tangible. Wow.

For those out there still worrying, here are some of my stats... I hope it helps! PM me with any add'l questions:

Sent 10/30 from LSAC (RD)
Received status checker 11/25
Low LSAT/High GPA splitter (keep your spirits up fellow splitters!! (assuming this is real...))
2 years post-undergrad FT work experience
not URM
Did 2 Supp Essays, 5 (Diversity) and 7 (Perspectives)

Also, random question - applying for only the fall term doesn't hurt chances of admission, does it? I don't have borderline numbers (and can't start in the summer), so I didn't think it would be a problem...

I don't think it would - I seem to remember reading that it would not hurt you somewhere, but I felt like it could only help, y'know? In addition, I think you can prefer one or the other, so that seems to suggest that it isn't really an issue.

It looks like someone got the status checker confused with the admitted students site... although I almost just had a heart-attack.

All: everyone describes it as a tab, I thought it was more like a button, it is at the bottom of the Admitted Students page. It leads you to three links. I chose admitted mailings. The information I cited was displayed in table format there.

haha oh well...means their official policy is probably not to release decisions until you get it by mailing

Nah, I was just kidding. I'm sure they have to input the decision into the computer to generate acceptance letters, and it automatically enables your account. Probably not much they can do about it without rewriting pieces of the software. Besides, as long as only admitted people can check, what's the harm?

Use that site, plug in the ID you got in your status checker e-mail and your birth date. If red text comes up, you haven't gotten in yet. If the page changes and takes you to an Admitted Students page, you're in!

Well, I think as has been mentioned at some point in this thread, it's probably related to when the admissions office enters the data for admitted students into their records. This probably has to happen before they can send out a welcome packet, so I'm sure the login info will work once they have you in their system as "accepted."

But add me to the list of compulsive checkers.
