Awesome Forza!!! COngrats!

And it does seem they're still YPing a bit... like inviting highly qualified applicants to interview before accepting them just to test out their interest.

Duke, I've been under review since about the same time. My stats are similar: LSAT 1pt lower, GPA 1.2pts lower. Accept me, please?

Has Duke outright rejected anyone yet?

It does sound much better that way. I can relate, though...I've been ready for review since 11/6. :(

I don't know if this is true. I think asking for an interview seems more likely to be to look for potential scholarship candidates or because they genuinely had a concern about the applicant, rather than yp, since other potential yp candidates were accepted without an interview.

Duke enjoys bizarre popularity with moms. Mine got quite excited about it as well, and she has no connection with the school or the region. :?

Went under review today. Complete since 11/3.

Does this mean I am a waitlist/reject?

Same boat. Complete since 11/2 and under review today. Almost the same numbers.

I hope they're thinking, "Okay. We're going to take one of these two reverse splitters. This one [picks up mine] went complete a day earlier, and this one [picks up yours] mentions "killing kittens" as a hobby. ...Let's go with the first one." Sorry, I'm selfish. Or maybe they picked their two favorite reverse splitters to admit.

But then after second review, they realize that the first applicant rushed his whole application and mentioned 'Cornell' instead of Duke on his PS. Killing kittens they can forgive. Mentioning another school on the PS is a different story.

The battle continues..

There is an easy way to solve this dispute....who got a LOR from a living former or current U.S. vice-president?

So I'm going to be in the research triangle area early next week and am going to visit the law school. Any suggestions from folks as to what to see/do while I'm there to get a good feel for Durham? Sadly, I can't sit in on a class since it's finals time, but I figure it can't hurt to check things out.

I got one from a living current TA from my communications class...does that count?

Former US Congressman now working at huge DC firm. Would that suffice? I was going to ask Biden, but he's so long winded. Seriously though, that LOR is easily the least substantive of the three I submitted. Still, with two years of work experience I thought I needed something from an employer and good letterhead can never hurt.

FORMER Congressmen are -1; TA wins the battle. However, you do have a good tar picture. If Duke checks this forum you would win.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
