I wouldn't panic yet, especially with the Thanksgiving holiday sandwiched within your waiting window. As the cycle progresses, it's likely that things will slow down given that more apps will be coming in.jfernandes16 wrote:Is it too soon to panic? I'm getting a little nervous.
3.47gpa/167lsat Mexican American
App completed late October
Interview was on 11/10 and I thought it went really well. Alumni responded to my follow up email saying I could contact him anytime and that he really enjoyed talking with me.
Any thoughts? If I should move this to the compendium I will. If it helps, in at Wash U and UCLA.

IN today! PT.
Letter and postmark dated 11/25.
Complete mid October.
No interview.
LSAT 25%, GPA 50%, strong softs one of which could be considered "highly unique" according to the spreadsheet thread.
I did the optional response where I filled in the box.
I did not do the diversity statement.
celebratory drink of choice is red wine.

Mind me asking what you consider a strong soft is for GUSTL? I'm hoping my softs will help my application as well.
Edit: apparently I forgot to congratulate you, so double congratulations!

I don't believe any type of odds can be determined for you based on how long it takes the school to respond, whether you were interviewed, etc. The only thing that's useful for stating some kind of likelihood is your LSAT and GPA. The rest is patiencejfernandes16 wrote:Thanks for the response- I will try not to freak out just yet.pittsburghpirates wrote:I wouldn't panic yet, especially with the Thanksgiving holiday sandwiched within your waiting window. Approximately how long do decisions take after interviews? Had mine recently with an alum.

Looks like the applicant from LSN who was accepted with a 3.0/161 finally updated their stats to 3.3x/167. Womp womp

I was deferred to regular admission on 10/27 and informed I would receive a decision no later than February. Any thoughts on how long it will take them to get a "better idea" of what the applicant pool looks like and give me a decision? I hope I don't have to wait until February
But maybe no news is good news?

My guess would be after the wave of applicants who are taking the Dec LSAT submit. So probably January
I understand your pain though. I applied in late September, group Interviewed in October and am still waiting. I'm borderline with my numbers so I wasn't expecting a fast response, but I would like to know if they're deciding between waitlist and admit or waitlist and deny.

I applied ED to NU and somewhere they said deferred apps would be revisited in February. I'd guess GULC does the same?Leslieknopepawnee wrote:laurossman wrote:I was deferred to regular admission on 10/27 and informed I would receive a decision no later than February. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Hey quick question.
So I was invited for an alumni interview and I said that I was interested in doing an in-person interview, but declined the Skype interview. My reasoning was that I am fairly certain that the internet at my school cannot hold up to using Skype and I'm afraid that the video and audio will be choppy leading to an overall unpleasant interview. I have just heard back and they said that there are no alumni in my area so I should reconsider doing a Skype interview, otherwise my application would just be returned for review. What should I say to them? Will it hurt my application if I turn down the Skype interview?
Thanks for the help!

I know GULC sends a small envelope rather than a package, but to those who have been admitted: was the letter sent via USPS priority mail or just regular snail mail? Trying to estimate when a letter from D.C. would reach me if they sent it on Monday...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
