So, odds on whether there are any sweet, sweet Rubys left for this batch of admits?

I'm sure there are, they still haven't even given much of a look at any applications submitted early December and later. At least, I haven't heard of anyone in that timeline having gotten an interview offer yet...

I know that applying earlier is generally regarded as advantageous as far as scholarships go, but it seems unlikely that applying mid-way through the cycle would disqualify you regardless of the quality of your app. My money is on their money going to at least a few of you

What do you think about those of us who did apply earlier (November) and just got in? Any chances on some $ or nah

My Ruby offer came as a phone call well after I got the admission email.

I should emphasize very strongly that I don't want to give people the idea that they can predict what will happen this year, or to them, based on what happened with me. Every cycle is different, and every applicant is different.

That said, I got in a month that starts with J...and it wasn't January!
