I'm sure there are, they still haven't even given much of a look at any applications submitted early December and later. At least, I haven't heard of anyone in that timeline having gotten an interview offer yet...
I know that applying earlier is generally regarded as advantageous as far as scholarships go, but it seems unlikely that applying mid-way through the cycle would disqualify you regardless of the quality of your app. My money is on their money going to at least a few of you

What do you think about those of us who did apply earlier (November) and just got in? Any chances on some $ or nah

$$$ for everybody! I'm still one of those poor sods waiting for an interview request, so someone else may as well be happy

You, my friend, are my kinda poster! and with your stats, they're probably bypassing the interview to just give you the Ruby right away!

Congrats to those who got in!
And good luck if you got waitlisted--I got in off of the waitlist, and it was totally worth the wait!

Have previous Rubies gone to people who had already received an acceptance email? Sorry if this is easy to find in the thread
My Ruby offer came as a phone call well after I got the admission email.

Based on my brief stalking of your post history, it appears 2-3 weeks after? So middle to end of February for this admit wave?

That sounds right. Decision 1/13. Ruby 1/27. So two weeks between for me.

Hey! Thanks for the question.
I should emphasize very strongly that I don't want to give people the idea that they can predict what will happen this year, or to them, based on what happened with me. Every cycle is different, and every applicant is different.
That said, I got in a month that starts with J...and it wasn't January!

Best day ever. Got accepted to Berkeley and Chicago on the same day.
This is jfernandes16 on an alt account because I keep getting banned for no reason.
Go ahead and ban me now, suckas. I couldn't care less. At least now I know I'm just getting banned by haters

Speaking from no particular experience: There is a lot of time left on the calendar. If Chicago is your #1 school, I wouldn't lose hope yet.

Woop woop, in via status checker today.
FR2 on Berkeley today doesn't seem so bad now.

Even after your interview disaster? That's awesome!!
I got accepted today as well, but it would take a massive unexpected scholly to pull me away from Harvard (Thanx WinterComing for letting me know it'll be weeks until I know about that
