Kinda jealous you're all dating future med students, my dream is to be part of a doctor-lawyer power couple. Which reminds me, I need to make sure the law school I go to has a med school in the area so I can find my future husband.

Do these actually exist in real life? I'm seeing a lot of red flags when I picture that.

Haha not in the way I'm describing. Medical-legal partnerships generally involve doctors working with (PI) lawyers to ensure that low-income patients have access to medical care/insurance/benefits, and also to improve social determinants of health (like ensuring that housing conditions are safe/healthy).

But I'm INNOVATING a new method, okay?!

lol well short of that, how does it work. And on top of never seeing each other, your kids would for sure be raised by some rando you have to hire. They would have like an hour a day of face time with both parents combined.

Well, that's assuming kids.

But I think depends on the type of job you want - biglaw attorney/ER doctor would be a nightmare. But the attorneys who have the type of job I want generally work regular hours (9-5/6, with some busier times now and then) and there are definitely jobs like that in medicine as well.
