CONGRATS ALL!
I submitted early December and my file is still at complete 12/18. Based on everyone else's acceptance timings, it looks like I've got at least a month to go.

Looks like someone messed up the spreadsheet (sorted the Current Status column). Anyone able to fix it?
And congrats to all the admits!

It's amazing to me that people still manage to mess up these spreadsheets.tls2175 wrote:Looks like someone messed up the spreadsheet (sorted the Current Status column). Anyone able to fix it?

Sorry for the ignorance, but what are UR1 and UR2? I'm guessing it has something to do with being under review in the status checker? Mine just says "under committee review" and has said that since early December.

As a 12/3 UR1, I am preparing for the WL email. It seems everyone accepted has UR2... Congrats to all

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
There are two date changes for "Under Review" status. So the date you first went "Under Review" would be UR1, and if you see the date change again, that's UR2. It's commonly believed that you have to go from UR1 to UR2 before being accepted. Once you go to UR2, usually a decision is not far off.IrishJew wrote:Sorry for the ignorance, but what are UR1 and UR2? Hmm, interesting. Thanks for clarifying; I've never heard of such a thing before. I very rarely go into the checker, so I don't know if this is the first time I'm UR or if the date has changed already. I applied in early Nov. and the current status date is early Dec., so either I'm still in UR1, or I'm in a very long UR2, or the UR1/UR2 thing isn't universal.lawschool22 wrote:There are two date changes for "Under Review" status. The status checker itself suggests the two UR updates. It says something like "your file will be reviewed by at least 2 adcomms"IrishJew wrote:Hmm, interesting. Also, a long UR1 isn't unusual. Many of us went from 12/3 UR1 to 1/6 UR2 and I think there were even some people who had the same UR2 but an even earlier UR1. That being said, we don't have conclusive proof, just anecdotal evidence.
ETA: Also, there are people on TLS who don't compulsively check their status checkers? What sort of strange creature are you?

12/3 UR1, 1/6 UR2 here. Didn't hear anything today (yet, at least). Here's hoping for more good news tomorrow!

Don't lose hope just yet. There were a lot of 12/3 UR1s...they can't get to us all in one dayjk148706 wrote:As a 12/3 UR1, I am preparing for the WL email. It seems everyone accepted has UR2... Congrats to all

When did you go complete?jk148706 wrote:As a 12/3 UR1, I am preparing for the WL email. It seems everyone accepted has UR2... Congrats to all
I figure all applicants go under review at least twice and only an offer, WL or rejection comes thereafter.
As for my dates, I went complete 11/8, UR1 is 12/3 and UR2 is 1/7.

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
+1. Looks like it's unpredictable for Penn as those applying as early as September were in the same batch of UR1s who submitted as late as November.lawschool22 wrote:Don't lose hope just yet. Dang, you caught me; I'm really Dean Post, can't believe I made such an elementary mistake! Thanks 4 all teh lulz, TLS. Well, got to get back to throwing applications on the staircase to see who gets admitted. l8er doods.kershka wrote:

PS This is obviously a joke. To the real Dean Post, if you liked my wit please admit me. If not, my account has been hacked by the person above me on the WL.

I (as well as a couple others) have gone UR3. Does anyone know if there have ever been 3 URs before?lawschool22 wrote:There are two date changes for "Under Review" status. Perhaps UR3s happen when the first two UR decisions conflict....or they are still debating on an applicant?
I think someone previously reported their app going on three reviews...

I'm very much hoping they're just debating whether to give me 150k or 155k XP. Gotta dream big.AAJD2B wrote:Perhaps UR3s happen when the first two UR decisions conflict....or they are still debating on an applicant?
