As Kathj06 and Johann's tumblr post infer, you may have to wait up to an hour to see your letter or any changes. So I'm still checking, lol.fivestarfolds wrote:So if we don't have a status change, should we wait for next week?

In at NU! Applied in Oct, interviewed mid-Nov. Been complete/under review ever since.
Looked at regular status checker first for the "Decision letter available within 24 hours" message. Then went to decision letter retrieval system link, and found the acceptance letter. No email yet.
Above both 75%.
Really hope I covered everything there.

In!!
Applied mid-October, had an alumni interview in Nov and had been at the same status since then.
Splitter: LSAT>75th, 25th<GPA<50th
Good luck to those still waiting!

Like someone said above, we might get more updates at 5 PM EST as updates occur every hour, but not holding my breath.jk148706 wrote:fivestarfolds wrote:So if we don't have a status change, should we wait for next week?

In as well!! Feel like I've been waiting forever (since 11/5). Interviewed all the way back in September because I live in Chicago.
LSAT Low 170s (but took 2x), GPA 3.9x.
My status changed about an hour before I could download the letter and I got the email a few hours later if that helps anyone!

Is that true? DLS sent in hourly waves on decision day? Probably only up until 5:30PM CSTBmoreOrLess wrote:Like someone said above, we might get more updates at 5 PM EST as updates occur every hour, but not holding my breath.jk148706 wrote:fivestarfolds wrote:So if we don't have a status change, should we wait for next week?

Decision letter is up for me, and I'm in.
RD, 171/3.6, submitted 10/09, interview 11/08, complete on 11/19 (but that was after I called to check that everything was in order - apparently I'd been complete and it hadn't updated), status change on 12/05.
Congrats to everyone else who just heard, and good luck to everyone still waiting!

This is a great idea. I'm thinking we endow a TLS scholarship with the winnings.lastsamurai wrote:You and alex.cm should go buy some lottery tickets! Congrats!chneyo wrote:HOLY HELL. Damn fine day.

Congrats to all the admits!
Am I behind the 8-ball on my needaccess application? I just realized Northwestern doesn't automatically consider admits for scholarships when I read the decision letter. Did you all fill this thing out prior to acceptance?

Wait, what? I don't think my letter says anything about scholarships. I assumed that they were like most other schools, that notify you later but still consider everyone automatically...Ricky-Bobby wrote:Congrats to all the admits!

All of the other schools I received acceptance letters from said something about scholarship consideration in the letter. I freaked out when I didn't see anything in the NU letter, so I looked at the website. The financial aid and scholarship page doesn't say everyone is automatically considered, and then I found this needaccess.org thing and figured that's where scholly consideration comes from. I don't know.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
