Lots of people have gotten in already...

If you mean December submits, it looks like a few December submits got in in December last year, but most had to wait until January.

It also seems that they are almost exclusively accepting 172 + LSATs, so if you're shy of that, it certainly could be til January.

I just sent in my application a few days ago. Got my status checker and it's already "under review." Is this normal? All of my other apps are "complete" or "received" but it seems NYU immediately put me under review? Not sure what to make of this - do they do this for everyone?

NYU moves fast with their Under Review. Very strong candidates normally hear back in a month or less.

Speaking solely for myself, I went UR a couple days after submitting (mid-October) and didn't get more movement until 11/14 (another under review date). FWIW

No, that's just what they do. Think of "under review" as NYU's form of complete.

No, that's just what they do. Think of "under review" as NYU's form of complete.

Gotcha - but looking at LSN, etc. this is not the always the case; not saying it means anything, could very well have just submitted before they moved a batch to UR. Just trying to derive some rhyme or reason here, if it exists.

I put my first UR date as complete for LSN. Most people did. Relax it bro.

This might be a dumb question but - does NYU reeeeally average LSATs? People on TLS don't seem super sure about it, but it seems like they give more weight to the highest score despite what they say on their website.

I haven't, and I'm definitely within the one day delivery window from nyu. I know that FedEx is having massive delays due to weather, so that could also factor in here (assuming the same for USPS)
