Agh, I'm at both 75ths for UVA, wrote a why UVA and had a UVA specific LOR, and went complete 10/16 and haven't heard a peep. I'm starting to get paranoid that I mixed up my Why Duke and Why UVA or something.

Go check your app. I've done that numerous times in moments of sheer panic for my pending schools. Just reading over what I submitted for my peace of mind.

I know I read it twice before submitting, but I'm still sweating at work for (possibly) no reason now. I'll totally check when I get home. I'm just DYING to hear and seeing people who submitted after me with lower numbers getting $$$ (my dream scenario) had me paranoid that they hate me or think I'm too ugly.

Gingerbread I'm glad I'm not alone in this terrible boat haha. And congrats to new admit with crazy cash. I won't lie, I'm completely envious.

has anyone called UVA to negotiate aid or have you done so via email? if anyone has any advice please PM me, would really appreciate it

I'm going to, but I need to get other offers back first. Jason made me really comfortable with the idea of negotiating with them. He pretty much told me to. I was planning on emailing him. I think it would be easier to see all he figures and schools in black and white.

I spoke with Dean Richard in early December. I was told to check back in March/April. This is of course with some context: I was an ED applicant and didn't get any money to start (LSAT of 174, got in with a 3.15, GPA is now at 3.21).

Yeah if you guys dont get aid initially, another round of offers go out in March, and at that point you can start negotiating too.

After seeing so many people who submitted after me getting in with major $$$ I feel like asking if my file fell behind someone's couch or something.

Or I guess I should just be patient and fervently wish.

If UVA isn't looking at them until April, it might be best to wait because that way they will know you're still interested. Since UVA YP's so much, if you send it in now then in April they won't know whether or not you remain interested and that might set you back. At least, that makes sense to me.

Its premature with your numbers. CC RD decisions will be coming out in the next few weeks. Make the thread again in March/April once you get financial aid offers. I think your current UVA offer is probably as good as it gets though.

i don't think we need to submit anything to stay on thz WL, it would have been mentionned in the email. For instance I was also WL at UCLA and it was clearly mentionned we had to fill a form.
