Don't worry Apple, obviously UChi will bump up your 3.7 to a 4.2 because of the rigor of your UG....applemaroon wrote:LOL I know, please don't be trolling. In today, numbers above both medians but at or below 75ths. I interviewed and it was aite; my Why Chicago answer was very strong though IMO.
But Lavitz's WL is really depressing. I don't understand his cycle at all, dude should've been a first-wave HLS admit.

Ok, home now so I can post more.
Congrats to everyone who got in today! Special congrats to Banjo who got his well-deserved redemption.
And thanks to everyone supporting me. I really appreciate it.
What's really funny is that--like with Harvard--it looks like I once again correctly predicted my outcome at the beginning of the thread. From page 3:
Anyway, sorry Reg, looks like Chicago may not have enough room for both of us
No, Noodley, I haven't killed anyone (that I know of).
Special thanks to spicyyoda for the inspirational post. Would like to type up a motivational post here, but the gym is closing soon so I need to get going.
Peace.

I guess I'm just disappointed because in both cases the interview got my hopes up. Oh well. Guess that's two LOCIs I need to write now.Lavitz wrote:As it is, have a feeling Chicago will be looking to WL/reject me since my GPA is below their median but above Columbia's and NYU's.
Good call. About 20 minutes ago, I was actually thinking of comparing myself to Jam. Unfortunately, I'm not as fond of NYU as he is, so it looks like Columbia is my last hope.moonman157 wrote:Lavitz is the JamMasterJ of this cycle. You should google your name and see if any cult leaders/terrorists come up. They might be confusing you with somebody else who has a terrible internet presenceLavitz wrote:Ok, home now so I can post more.

So Chicago said that some denies would come out today too. Is the TLS sample size just too small or did they not send them out today?

Re: Chicago c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Really sorry to see this, Lavitz. This whole process can be truly shitty and a "life-consuming, ego-shattering bugaboo" (that's from Anna Ivey's description of the LSAT).Lavitz wrote: Waitlisted.
BTW I don't think you're anywhere near Jam territory. He didn't get accepted anywhere until May.
But the bottom line: It's Chicago's loss.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
