Congrats guys! Maybe I'll see some of you at ASW. The weird thing is that I got accepted via a phone call, but no email and no change in the status checker. I went UR on 1/2

I submitted my application on 11/4 and went UR 11/5. Still haven't heard a peep from Berkeley. Should I just assume RJ at this point?

I'm losing my MIND.

The same thing happened to me. I got the call on Friday, but I haven't received any other update!!

Got a phone call just now from a number I didn't recognize. I start having a seizure.

"HI, THIS IS TWENTYPERCENTMORE!!!"

"um, hi, calling for xyz management consulting. We can't find your guys' Toronto office number, do you have--"

::tears welling up::

"I think you have the wrong number."

Completely shocked...in via email about an hour ago. I am below both 25ths and am a white hispanic (so do not constitute a URM).

Does anyone know if dings go out the same time as admits? I ask because Berkeley is hail mary for me. Whenever a day like today goes by without a response, I try to look on the bright side by saying "I survived another round without getting dinged!"

I understand this is irrational, I'm just wondering how irrational.

berkeley doesn't start dinging people until late January/early February. They're usually pretty good about accepting people in order of submission so if you haven't heard in a while it generally isn't good news unfortunately.

At this stage, I'd say the best hope for early submitters is committee review :|
