I have good #s for Vandy, but I think they hate me. Complete Since 9/25

Majorly crossing my fingers for you on this one. Let me know when you find out.butchcassidy wrote:Decision mailed 2/10. Expecting the worst.
it might just be numbers. i didn't keep in touch or interview (in fact, i signed up to interview, and failed to meet with my assigned interviewer). i got in off the waitlist right after i updated LSAC with my spring grades, which pushed my LSAC GPA over the 3.0 mark.2014 wrote:Just keep in touch with them with a LOCI(s) and make sure if you send one that you have something of substance to say in it other than "I love u Vandy plz take me". So if you did something meaningful in terms of work experience, extracurriculars, if your grades improved, took the LSAT again, etc it's a good excuse to write them and let them know you are interested and you are more attractive because of whatever changed.

i think i got the call in june or july? somewhere around there. i got in with like 60k, too, so there's hope.daleearnhardt123 wrote: Wow, so when-abouts was this... late May Im guessing?
not quite 60k but close. it was like 56k or some weird number. my next best offer was GWU with no money, so yea, i'm a vandy 1L. a ton of people got waitlist calls after updating LSAC with higher LSATs or GPAs. it's just gonna depend on how the numbers are shaking out for the class as it gets close to august.daleearnhardt123 wrote:60k? come on, you gotta be pullin my leg. I take it you did not go there either? whered u end up?
FTR I got off the waitlist in mid-July with a little over 60k. This is despite the fact that I didn't interview (despite the opportunity), and did not even return the sheet of paper saying "yes I want to stay on your WL."fatduck wrote:not quite 60k but close. it was like 56k or some weird number. my next best offer was GWU with no money, so yea, i'm a vandy 1L. a ton of people got waitlist calls after updating LSAC with higher LSATs or GPAs. it's just gonna depend on how the numbers are shaking out for the class as it gets close to august.daleearnhardt123 wrote:60k? come on, you gotta be pullin my leg. I was complete at 11/15 and got decision mailed the other day. This bodes poorly for one of us.PrincetonLaw wrote:Complete 11/15flyingduck wrote:Congrats to the recent black box recipients.
