How was ASD, those who attended? General impressions? I wasn't going to miss spring break for an early look at where I'll be slaving away for the next three years.

I would suggest that everyone forward their mail from webmail to gmail if they have it. Webmail sucks.Fletcher Reed wrote:Anyone having trouble accessing your Gatorlink e-mail account??

Wow...webmail really does suck. My undergrad email is based on gmail -- its awesome. Where the hell is the settings section for forwarding emails? I'm not typically the type to ask about online stuff...but this format makes my eyes burn.

Hey everyone! So my status just changed to "No decison reached" today. So what does this mean exactly? Is that like a wait-list or what? Should I send a LOCI?

Here is the link I found that SHOULD link you to directions on how to forward your email. It looks like it hasn't been updated since 2009 though (when I did it). http://docweb.cns.ufl.edu/docs/d0198/d0198.html Just do a ctrl+F for "gmail"Geaux12 wrote:Fletcher Reed wrote:Yeah it seems like it! if anyone paid there seat deposit online, and the check box for "seat deposit received" hasn't been ticked in the status check, I suggest you call Dean Adorno. I got an e-mail yesterday saying my scholarships had been forfeited because I hadn't paid my seat deposit yet, when I actually paid it at the end of March. I guess the online payment system didn't update my records properly. She took care of it in a few minutes, but I'm convinced I lost 10 years off my life when I read that initial email.

Do you have a box for final confirmation below? I have one but it's unticked. Also is anyone else getting an error after signing into webmailFigure.N9ne wrote:if anyone paid there seat deposit online, and the check box for "seat deposit received" hasn't been ticked in the status check, I suggest you call Dean Adorno. yea, that box is also unticked. I think it gets ticked when we submit the immunization forms and final transcripts.
Webmail tells me that the mail box does not exist.

I wonder why mine isn't checked then since my immunization records are already on file at UF from grad school (verified this with the clinic) and since I'm not in school, I don't have any final transcripts to be sent.Figure.N9ne wrote:

Have you requested that your official transcripts be sent from you UG institution directly to UF? The transcripts from LSAC are typically not considered "official" and are only used for admissions decisions. You must still request transcripts be sent directly from the school to UF.UMiamiCane wrote:I wonder why mine isn't checked then since my immunization records are already on file at UF from grad school (verified this with the clinic) and since I'm not in school, I don't have any final transcripts to be sent.Figure.N9ne wrote:

Oh really? No, I had no idea. Thanks! I guess it doesn't matter that I had them sent for grad school either.

If you're in grad school for UF, I would call the office and ask if they already have your transcripts. I know they didn't require me to send them from UF to UF but if they already have your UG records for grad school, then I'd call and make sure you need to send them.UMiamiCane wrote:

Is it normal for the "No Decision Reached" status date to change?

It changed for me a couple of days before they issued my notice. I believe it just means someone else has reviewed your application but if you look back a few pages I believe many of us had our dates change just before our decision was rendered.
Good Luck!

Edit: Is "No Decision Reached" a good sign? Do most denials usually skip this step?

Everyone goes to that step, it's the "Gator Way" and completely normal. Rejection are electronically and acceptance are by way of snail mail. To my knowledge no one has been waitlisted so no way to tell if those individuals will recieve electronic notice or the old fashion way.

Hello all, I am just wondering if anyone else has not heard back from UF? I have been "no decision reached" since November 11th. I am not the strongest candidate (2.7/162) so I was expecting a reject. Could it be that my package is lost? It just seems weird that I have not heard back one way or another. I will be going to Maryland most likely anyways, but I can't bring myself to withdraw from UF until I know what's up.
