Most of the other offices close at 2 today. I went by in the morning an the campus is a ghost town. If they haven't done anything by now, I don't know how likely it will happen this year.

I'm still sitting at my first UCR so even if they are calling today, which I doubt, then I wouldn't be in that group. But when it comes down to it I'd rather get accepted in January than WL/dinged in December. And it's definitely reassuring that there seems to be several people with really strong numbers who haven't heard yet, so I don't think they're just rounding us all up for mass dinging.

Of course that's always possible, but some of them have solid numbers but shouldn't really be YP. I'm just going to stay optimistic!

take that for granted, however, since Penn has been my absolute favorite for a while now so I don't really want to come to terms with the fact that they might not like me just yet.

Yeah their insights says the office will still be open during the break but after the 22nd they wouldn't be sending out decisions until January 7th. So even if they decide on some of us next week we still won't hear. But at least they're still working. If it was complete nothingness we wouldn't hear for even longer.

YAAAY me too! Even though I know I'm still far from a decision, finally seeing some movement on my status checker feels really good. (I'd been Complete since 11/3!)

Sorry to post here as an EDer, but every EDer already got sth. I haven't heard anything yet and they said everyone should get a decision by 31th. If as someone said they won't be back until Jan 7th, do you guys think it is wise for me to even ask them what happened...
