Why, as a dean for a top school, would you wait on trying to improve your class profile / rankings ? Doesn't seem very smart to me. Admitting a 167/below3 vs a 166/3.0 only does positive things - 25% gpa remains unchanged because both are below that #, while median LSAT goes up with the 167.SrLaw wrote:Sandro wrote:Looking on LSN it seems Emory has a 3.0 GPA wall of death as well. It seems like Emory is not trying too hard to get that median LSAT to 167 this year. I think they are in a holding pattern and they will pull a WUSTL in the next year or so.

For most schools, median LSAT of admits > median LSAT of attendees.JakeL wrote:I just want to point out that on LSN the median for Emory admits right now is 167 and needing quite a few sub 167 admits to drop it to 166.
I got that email. Honestly, I like knowing that I will have my Emory decision in hand before any of my deposits are due. I wish I could say the same about other schools I applied to in October.pballer wrote:Did all pending applicants receive the "your file is in review e-mail"? To me it seemed much more like a "please stop sending us more stuff. no really, we have enough." e-mail disguised as a status update
If I were you, I'd be waiting by the mailbox.beachviolet11 wrote:I didn't get one:(
