I have been IR since 2/8 but was complete for several weeks before that. I was hoping to hear today too, maybe next week.

Re: Minnesota 2011
Just got the call! Accepted (and very likely attending).
Apparently my packet will be here next week. Any chance of me getting some $$$?
Best of luck to the rest of you, hope they don't make you wait much longer.

Withdrawing from the waitlist this week due to my full-tuition offer from Iowa. Have fun in Minneapolis, everyone!

Are you in-state? I'm wondering if there is any cash left for OOS admits (like ME!). You have a rockstar GPA so I wouldn't be surprised if they threw something your way.weber35 wrote:Just got the call! Accepted (and very likely attending).

Nope, but I do have reciprocity (from SD). Let's hope they have something left for us... would really sweeten the pot.GoldenGopherHopeful wrote:Are you in-state? Re: Minnesota 2011
My status just updated to "IR 2-11" from 1-24 (12-21 before that).
My stats definitely aren't auto-admit (a smidge below median GPA, probably 30ish percentile LSAT), but is there a chance I might have a waitlist coming since they're apparently looking at my application multiple times?

Re: Minnesota 2011
You'll likely receive some money but your LSAT is well below the median of 167. I'd say you'll receive between 0-15k total a year.weber35 wrote:Nope, but I do have reciprocity (from SD). Re: Minnesota 2011
The morning after receiving the call, anxiety about scholarship money is starting to the creep in. I'm not expecting a huge amount or anything, but 10-20K would make a huge difference -- especially when weighing Minnesota against full tuition offers from a couple T2's.

You got full tuition offers from top 2s or top 20s? Because if it's the former, pardon my outburst but are you out of your east-Jesus mind?!

I meant tier 2's. Guess the preferred abbreviation is TT it seems.

Re: Minnesota 2011
The correct abbreviation is T2. If you're talking top 2, which is Yale and then Harvard, you just say Y and H (or just say HYS, as they're all peer schools). Likewise, T3 = Tier 3, not top three, which is just HYS. T3,4 is also abbreviated TTT, for "Third Tier Toilet."

Yes, apologies, Fakemoney; it was completely my mistake. That'll teach me to drink and login.

No problem. Just worried you might have to do an addendum about drinking and posting on TLS

An addendum to my application? No... I think Vahalla Valkyrie suggests Minnesotan enough that anyone from the Iron Range would know, and remember that Grain Belt on a Friday night is Communion. Any complaints from Mondale and I'll just file a grievance re: religious discrimination.
