Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
Just to let you know. DO NOT LIVE AT RIVERMILL. I am in undergrad living at Rivermill now. It is infested with an unbelievable amount of cockroaches. The exterminator does nothing. If you have friends come and visit, their cars will be towed, even if parked in a visiter spot. It is mostly undergrads and extremely loud at night. If thats not bad enough, all of the ground floor walkways flood when it rains. It is worth the drive to live elsewhere.

I am also told there are mice. This is why I tell everyone not to live there. If you have a lease with them, see if you can sublet it out to undergrads and find another place.creader wrote:Just to let you know. DO NOT LIVE AT RIVERMILL. Oh wow thanks for the warning, the pictures look so nice. I guess theres a reason why its so close to campus yet cheaper than some other places close to campus. I guess i have to either raise my budget or find somewhere farther away.I am also told there are mice. This is why I tell everyone not to live there. The last comment might be B.S. but it would concern me.

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
My fiance lived in River Club a couple years ago. It was decent - not super new or fancy but it got the job done. Don't remember there being a bug or maintenance problem. The grounds were always kept up. It's just full of undergrads if that bothers you (although in my experience, grad students can be just as loud
). Can't speak to the crime rate over the last two years, though. It could have gone up, but as of a couple years ago I don't think it was any worse than any other area, really.

Anyone receive an email recently about making the cut to a smaller waitlist? Any ideas of how large the WL is now? Anyone still considering UGA?

Anyone waiting from out of state? Anyone heard the likelihood of coming off the WL (any openings)?

Do you have the link to the UGA Waitlist thread? I just made my account and can't find that thread. Thanks.
