Probably because Fordham and I both know I don't have good enough numbers for them.. I honestly don't know why they haven't rejected me yet. The longer they wait, the more false hope I get!cowgirl_bebop wrote: That is just ridiculous. Why the hell would it take so long to review your application? I hope you hear back soon!!

Has anyone negotiated their scholarship offer using another school's offer as leverage? If so, any advice on how to go about doing that would be greatly appreciated.

After hearing back on need-based aid, I am submitting a merit increase letter. Since my FAFSA, tax forms, and their specific financial aid form have been submitted;I should hear back by mid Marc on need grants. At that point, I will submit a merit increase letter.ellewoods2 wrote:Has anyone negotiated their scholarship offer using another school's offer as leverage? How do you know you'll hear about need-based aid by mid-march? Is that the timetable they gave you?

The financial aid office does not consider the need-based grant application complete until the applicant and the applicant's parents have submitted their individual 2010 Federal Tax Return, copies of W-2's, and proof of other sources of income.Gemini wrote:SO USEFUL. If you desire a need-based grant, yes, you must submit the above mentioned forms.Gemini wrote:So I have to send Fordham copies of all that, even if I end up not attending?

Definitely try, Gotti. The problem is that Fordham just doesn't have very much money to give.Gotti wrote:This is also my question. So the wording says "you, your spouse's and your parents'"... I'm guessing that means they want my parents' info even though I'm married?

Thanks nygrrrl! Gem was saying they give out a lot of need-based grants--is that true from your experience/knowledge (not saying she's not right, but just wondering about your experience)? I think it's so lame how my parents' information is going to be taken into consideration when they're not helping me with LS at allnygrrrl wrote:Definitely try, Gotti. Re: Fordham 2011
At a second complete. My LSAT is VERY low for Fordham. This is my reach reach reach school, but I have a lot of family that graduated from Fordham and it's my #1, so I gave it a shot.
Can anyone explain to me how the process has been? Is a second complete usual for Fordham? What happens from here? Thanks.

Well I went through 3 completes and 1/13 was the last time before acceptance 2/1. Still no packet though.Bless wrote:At a second complete. My LSAT is VERY low for Fordham.
