northwestern thread is even more disappointing. NU assistant dean sent out a twitter saying email acceptances were sent and only two people in the thread let us know they got in....

i blame the december lsat

It means something. Maybe they are finalizing the read process for our files based on previous review/recommendations. From a data processing stand point they have to "close the file" before releasing decisions.

Since people with high stats updated, and I updated, it means nothing about your chances, certainly. I more or less wasted the app fee, but now I'm a little on edge because of the update.

It seems clear that they are pulling all of the files for the committee meeting.

Last year they started with acceptance calls and waited a few days to send out dings, then another day for wait lists. Not everyone who updated today will receive a call.

11/23 --> 12/20 -- 1/7. Behind the curve, I know, but I was in meetings all morning. I'm extremely borderline for Chicago, but just knowing that I'll probably hear back sometime next week (whether acceptance, rejection or waitlist) is nice, since I wasn't counting on anything till Feb/March. GOOD LUCK!!

Oh and Dulc, I support your spreadsheet and will pm you.
