Re: Stanford 2010!!!
Doesn't look like anyone was contacted today, save for a few rejections.
Another week of anguish awaits!

This is how I feel everyday now. My heart starts beating like mad, and I can't breathe as I approach the mailbox. Then when there's nothing there, I breathe a sigh of relief and wait about 5 minutes for the tension to start building for the next day.

Waiting for this school is 100x more ________ than waiting for anything else. I sent them an updated resume, and they told me that they were still reviewing my file. Which, at least means that there's no rejection yet. That, and I just booked a flight.
Will be paying a visit during the Olympics so I can fall in love with Stanford even more. ♥

Rejected via snail mail today. Not a huge shock at all. It was like me trying to ask out Scarlett Johansson. Never in a million years haha.

Submitted 10/2, complete 11/11. Reverse splitter with no URM, so I was expecting a ding. Figured I would just kick myself if I never even tried.lawapps0502 wrote:when did you submit/go complete?nyskidude wrote:Rejected via snail mail today. Not a huge shock at all. There doesn't seem to be much love for reverse splitters so far this cycle. I wonder if they're trying to raise their LSAT range, which is below most of the peer schools.

There doesn't seem to be much love for regular splitters either. With the exception of URMs, there appears to be a 3.9 floor so far.managamy wrote:There doesn't seem to be much love for reverse splitters so far this cycle. Sorry to hear that.
What was your complete date?
I saw a 11/19 rejection on LSN earlier today so they're progressing slowly but surely.

I love how your post shifted from self-interest to altruism and back to self-interest in three short sentences.tintin wrote:uh oh, my exact stats. sorry to hear that.ChaotiCait wrote:Rejected today, 168 3.9this does not bode well.

If it's any comfort, SLS is very attentive to softs. Crackberry was admitted with numbers that are similar to yours.tintin wrote:uh oh, my exact stats. sorry to hear that.ChaotiCait wrote:Rejected today, 168 3.9this does not bode well.
Although you are, like most of us, a longshot, I wouldn't give up hope just because someone with similar numbers got rejected.

+2. Just look at the reds, greens, and yellows on past year's LSN. Can't make heads or tails of that thing.managamy wrote:+1. Hi! (I guess I don't technically qualify because my LSAT is above SLS' 25th percentile, but it's below median and my average LSAT is below 25th.)managamy wrote:There doesn't seem to be much love for reverse splitters so far this cycle.

You're also a Stanford undergrad, though. If they practice the same type of policy as H and Y, you'd be right at the median LSAT.crackberry wrote:Hi! Re: Stanford 2010!!!
He's implying that S gives Stanford UG students an LSAT boost like H and Y does.. meaning your LSAT would be equal to say a 173crackberry wrote:Huh?managamy wrote:You're also a Stanford undergrad, though.
