+1. Man, it feels like I've been there forever. Submitted the first week of September and still UR 11/25.

I think this is a mixed batch, btw, but that is just pure speculation.

Fairly confident this is a mixed batch. Doesn't chicago do most things in chronological order? So we should expect most batches to be a mixed.

Yeah but the first batch was all acceptances and plenty of schools do a few batches of acceptances before rolling out the WL/rejects.

They received my app Jan. 3. I'm in for long wait, alas.

Forgive a basic question: Can anyone provide insight on what U-Chi likes most?...For example, Northwestern like WE and LSAT splitters, Berkeley likes high GPAs and softs, UVA will let you in ED if you have a 3.9/164+.

Anything similar for Chicago?

Chicago is generally kind to high-LSAT splitters. It's also been hypothesized that they favor candidates who would be a good fit for Chicago's intellectual atmosphere.

Congrats on the awesome cycle so far!

I bet you have a decent shot at U-Chi, too. That GPA is nice and shiny and you obviously have a good app package, to get into three T-10 schools already.

3:11 and no one has posted anything on TLS yet. we're forgetting the 90% of applicants that aren't on TLS, people who might call their parents before posting, and the fact that maybe whoever's making the phone calls just wanted to cup of coffee first. i wouldn't call today a wash yet. maybe in an hour, but not yet.

UR updated to 1/11... Is this relevant for Chicago? Have people generally gotten acceptances after an update, or is it irrelevant?
