The silver lining to this is that it'll be February in a week or so.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:MyLSN has graphs from last year showing roughly when decisions came out according to when the applicant applied. Some of them say that the bulk of decisions come in February or March.
But also according to Reddit, he emailed an ED applicant asking if they could extend the 15 days. Sounds like they're pretty swamped.griffinz wrote:According to Reddit, Dean Faulk has made at least two admit calls today.

This latency in hearing back could also be from the massive influx of LSAT takers - and by extension the number of people that applied - in December. From what I have read, the number of applications are way up, and much of that just came in. I imagine, if this is true, law schools are heavily bogged down right now. I have been seeing a lot of yield protection going on this cycle. As someone that reapplied this cycle to schools - and applied earlier - I can say that it definitely seems more competitive and schools are taking longer than last year to get back to applicants. Just my two cents and perhaps that it all its worth, but I have been tracking this stuff for over a year now, and that is what I have been seeing. So, UVA doesn't seem to be deviating much from the overall trend with schools. Last year I sat in review for three months before hearing back from them, obviously, with a rejection.etramak wrote:Can only mean that a late, massive wave is incoming!Ntp73821 wrote:Yeah, check out the poll. It's a good sign. I heard that the UVA interview is more of a formality right before they admit you. When did you apply?Intro-gamer wrote:Just got an interview invite for UVA. Is this a good sign? Or is it more of a evaluating a borderline applicant/YP higher stat applicant thing for them?

Congrats! Good to know there's still hope of getting an interview request a couple of months after submitting. I went complete early November and I've been getting very uneasy.OtisRedding24 wrote:In at the end of the interview with Dean Faulk. Awesome how they do that.
Complete mid October. UR2 last week.
LSAT = 75
25 GPA 50
Thanks! And yes there's definitely still hope! I think they're just now getting around to reviewing their "average" applicants.InvisiblePineapple wrote:Congrats!
