In the world where they are all free and equally close to friends, Michigan or Berkeleylittlelibertine wrote:So, what's everybody's top pick?
in a world where location matters but they're still all free, those 2+Duke+UVA+Vandy+GULC
In the actual scholarships are essentially what MyLSN says they'll be, WUSTL, with UVA/Michigan/Duke/GULC tempting me to go into debt.

Cost not considered UVA. But there's no way I can justify near sticker with WUSTL for free so it will entirely depend upon what they offer me.littlelibertine wrote:So, what's everybody's top pick?

Well, before it was Columbia. But then I got this super chill email from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
I got the email as well, which is kinda sad, because there's no way I'm giving LSAC $35 for Berkeley to YP me. All that language about me being the sort of candidate they want in their student body was kind of a sick joke, given their known attitudes about low GPAs.littlelibertine wrote:Maybe both? My GPA's 3.55 but my LSAT's 175.Mikey wrote:thepsychedelic wrote:Did they email you guys or did it just pop up on LSAC? Kinda bummed I didn't get one hahalittlelibertine wrote:Same! Harvard, but that would be a rather long shot. Realistically, BU or BC although I'm not sure how keen they are on "No GPA" folks.littlelibertine wrote:So, what's everybody's top pick?

Michigan with money or Harvard. If both of those end up being an option it'd be a super difficult decision, because I'd really like to get back to the Midwest and don't have the grades for a Ruby, but it'd be hard to turn down Harvard, ya know?littlelibertine wrote:So, what's everybody's top pick?

If I forget about the red flags in my app and the cost of living, Stanford / Columbia / NYU.littlelibertine wrote:So, what's everybody's top pick?
Still, for a couple of reasons, I have a higher shot at H than all those three put together + UVA (sigh) and UPenn.
I wouldn't be surprised to be dinged by all those 6 though, so realistically Duke / Mich / UCLA / WUSTL with some money...

Mine is still NYU, which I *think* is realistic.
But I want to be a federal public defender, so that prestige might end up counting and I might want to look elsewhere.
Edit: waaay more interested in Michigan since doing more due diligence

Anybody know which schools look at all LSAT scores vs. just the highest, and if it's a significant ding on your application? I bumped to a 175 from 166 after taking time off work to study (wasn't planning on writing an addendum), but curious to see if that would affect chances at HYS or other T13 schools.

Does anyone know when the Yale app opens? Thought for some reason it could be today.
