As the poll suggests, I'd rather have a ding now then a waitlist at the end of the month. Acceptance, not so much. I guess I'd wait for that.

It would be interesting to see how peoples' responses change as admissions chances go down. ANYONE would take guaranteed acceptance end of April vs. rejection now, right? But what about 50/50? 25/75? 10/90?

This is actually good to know. I had conditioned myself for one email meaning rejection, two meaning acceptance. Now I actually have to open the email.Aquinas wrote:Thanks, y'all. Applied 1/31, complete 2/17. No fbeezy invite just yet.

I'd take 1% chance of admission in three weeks over rejection right now. YLS is life-changing, I really don't care about the waiting,Pozzo wrote:+1pretzeltime wrote:It really is!WordsworthIsBae wrote:This is like the Marshmallow study.Gabriel_is_Satan wrote:Really?? Well, if a rejection depends on those faculty, it won't happen before a few days (at the earliest). If the rejection is already known to Dean Asha, it all depends on when she or Craig decides to send that flood of rejection emails. Methink: very very soon (tonight?), but I've been wrong repeatedly on this. (eventually, I'll be right thoughguppiesbaby wrote: WHAT ABOUT THE DARN REJECTIONS

Her constant stream of cat tweets is superb and makes this waiting so much easier (at least for me). Quality content generation, 10/10.notsonotorious wrote:You guys https://twitter.com/deanasha/status/848963972573401088

I bet there's one professor out there that they send all the TLSer apps to. That's the one they're waiting on.seeprybyrun wrote:Same!Gabriel_is_Satan wrote:Yeah! Morenotsonotorious wrote:You guys https://twitter.com/deanasha/status/848963972573401088marshmallow studieswaiting!

And yes, I did just end two sentences with prepositions. What kind of monster is this wait turning me into?

Same. It's terrible, it both raises the stakes of getting into YLS and diminishes the probability---if HLS doesn't admit me straight, what hope is there, rationally, for YLS to do so? But hey, still no rejection email so I can still have some hope ...notsonotorious wrote:
