Anyone hear anything or see any movement after the second deadline?

Nothing. It'll probably be the 2nd or 3rd week of July before movement happens.

Where have you heard that?

Some friends (rising 2Ls) were accepted off the WL around that time.

I'm glad to hear that. I was losing hope that they'd ever get to the WL at all this year

Probably won't be much of a movement since their current class is oversubscribed.

You're right. I'm already in at a higher school, so I just withdrew. I recommend that everyone else do the same thing if you're still waiting.

I completely forgot about the waitlist at Vanderbilt, and I have not heard anything since the waitlist email. That was 3 month ago.

Is there any reason for optimism here?

From what I've read on here, Vanderbilt is overenrolled. Maybe something will change last minute but I haven't seen/heard of much WL movement.
