I don't know. I think we are lucky if we could get a decision before 3L year.miku015 wrote:Wow, committee 1st read! ...what are the chances I'll get a decision before UCLA's deadline lol

That moment when you go into Committee First Read on March 27, but applied on January 10. Thanks for the "priority recognition" USC.

The only "good" thing about late CR1 right now is that the number of applications they have is probably significantly lower so they aren't juggling as many so your turnaround may be quicker
good luck
good luck

Five months later, dinged by snail mail. Pretty surprising, but whatever. I applied for an MFA through the SCA as well, and was planning on trying to create a new dual degree program. I let the law school know whenever I heard back from SCA but never received a response to that or my initial inquiry. Oh well, on to the next one.

Man, if BirdLaw's out I probably don't stand a chance. Granted I'm not even under review yet...ssitt wrote:Now I really don't wanna go home after workBirdLawExpert wrote:Five months later, dinged by snail mail. Pretty surprising, but whatever. Anyone know if (and how many) full tuition scholarships USC generally gives out aside from the Rothman?

Just got a 25k/year scholarship offer. Kind of a joke. If they don't up it, I'll gladly open up my spot for one of you guys.

Re: USC c/o 2019 Applicants Thread (2015-2016)
I'm at complete too, which is annoying me a lot because they won't even get to my app (or anyone else in this position) until first deposits at other schools are past. USC is my second choice, and I'm still waiting on my first, which I'm definitely under review for, but it's more of a stretch than USC is for me. At this rate, I'm going to have to drop 500 dollars on a seat somewhere else while waiting, which is seriously not cool. I do feel slightly bad for being angry because we didn't have to pay application fees if we were on time, but it's still rude in my opinion. It's been 4 months, like what the heck?
Part of me wants to write a letter after seat deposits just saying I'm putting my name down somewhere else, but definitely want to be considered here as it is a top choice just so they know I exist, but I think we've had the LOCI while not wait listed as a no no discussion on this thread already.

Is it possible to get a decision off of CR1 or does your app have to go through each step?
